Digital Citizenship lessons emphasis the importance of being safe and kind when going online. Below is a link to some videos for parents about digital citizenship. You can also visit the Ison Media Center website and click the Digital Citizenship tab for more information.
The students have been so excited to start book checkouts this year! We have gone over the procedures and played some fun games. The younger grades went on a library walkabout, middle ones did a scavenger hunt, and the older ones played Kahoot quizzes with call numbers. Wow! It has been a fun filled first month.
Procedures: Please keep all checked out books in a safe place at home. Kindergarten and 1st grade checkout one book at a time. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5thgrades can checkout two books at a time. All books that are lost or damaged are to be paid for by the parents or guardian.
